At Power Initiatives, we address complex, large-scale projects through critical thinking, data-driven insights, and out-of-the-box approaches.
Our work demands individuals who question conventional perspectives, synthesise ideas from diverse domains, and craft strategic, innovative solutions. We collaborate with architects, data scientists, engineers, and policy experts —drawing upon a rich spectrum of expertise cultivated across varied fields.
This diversity fuels our ability to tackle challenges with precision and creativity, ensuring impactful solutions for our clients and communities.
Culture is at the heart of Power Initiatives. Integrity is our DNA, and we embrace diversity, champion ideas, and look after each other. A safe and enjoyable workplace is everyone’s responsibility. Balance, fun, and a sense of curiosity imbues all that we do to collaborate, support and succeed.
Our values define who we are and we live them every day.
Integrity
We act with integrity in all aspects of our work. We build and sustain trust by saying what we do and doing what we say, and we maintain our reputation through high behavioural, interpersonal and ethical standards.
Courage
We are courageous in our thinking and how we go about our business. We put the client and each other first, and support positive change by challenging norms. We are bold, we celebrate perspective, we safeguard professionalism.
Agility
We are agile and respond quickly and in measured ways to change. We are comfortable with being uncomfortable, and maintain flexibility in the pursuit of innovative solutions.
Drive
We are driven by professional curiosity and interest to unravel complexity and meet our Clients’ needs. We are intrinsically motivated, and we pull together to succeed as one.
We typically work ‘above the line’ from our offices in Canberra, meaning we are engaged on a project-by-project basis to deliver discrete deliverables in a defined timeframe. We also maintain flexible work arrangements to ensure the Client’s needs are met.
We are interested in developing well-rounded professional experts. This means we take a vested interest in growing both your technical expertise as well as your business acumen. You will independently drive projects of national significance, identify and support business development opportunities, undertake professional training and certifications, and contribute to ongoing business operations.
We are looking for motivated, inquisitive and qualified professionals who act with honesty and value integrity. Essential prerequisites include tertiary qualification, AGSVA security clearance (or an ability to obtain one), relevant or transferrable skills, and demonstrated interest and experience in our core sectors.
While we may not be currently hiring, we are always on the lookout for talented and motivated people who might suit our growing team.
